Why space needs companies?

In order to create a competitive environment for multiple private players or contractors so that they in turn help the space sector grow and ultimately advance it in addition to the fact that after the fall of former soviet Union there is no real and legitimate competitor to NASA as far as technology and experience is concerned therefore with no real competition and reason to excel further without an international scoring point in place comes the lack of reason to push harder much like if you have already won a marathon will you be still sprinting down the road to your home from the venue which has been the case after 1990 which has been pointed out by many space enthusiasts but a new kind of space race is heating up between private players such as Space X and others space contractors although at a much smaller scale but hopefully they will live up to our expectations.
Imagine a time seventy years from now on a multinational space giant on the lines of today's internet companies such as Google launching Space exploration and tourism packages every now and then and our daily technology news headlines filled not with similar looking smart apps but options in space ranging from fringe space tours to low earth orbit trips then will be the time to enjoy the fruits of first space companies.

Note :the above mentioned reasons and theories are based on common sense and not on any report or anything like that

Television

Hi Everyone,
A Decade back almost everybody used to watch TVs depending upon availability of time after daily work and house chorus but do we still watch it and if yes then what exactly do we watch?
May be a game of soccer if you are an male with a history of being in the college team or may be just because even your dad used to watch it and you inherited his interests or you are just following your unconscious urge to see yourself play and if you are a women may be a daily soap with protagonists who resemble you or may be you want to resemble them in one way or the another.

But a better question then this is what should we watch with ever increasing options in the future?

May be a 3D interactive Video game but you will argue that we have these things even today and few can even add is a Very high speed Internet with every possibility but here is the catch
What will you watch in the internet? a simple answer will be whatever i like but you are forgetting the interest fatigue which simply means that after watching the same or similar thing for too much time you will loose interest in it and here the good old TV sets make an argument for themselves by introducing time bound randomness which might not sound very exciting but may be it does.
As their is a saying that "life is beautiful because it ends" and may be this is applicable with entertainment as well.

Intelligent Beings

Intelligent life forms
What is it?
Is it really what we think or it's just a manifestation of us being superior than other beings?
May be not but how?
lets assume a scene amid plains of Africa a family of early human species is wandering without food and protection from predators such as lions and snakes and mother nature to make matters worse so to ask do they really have a chance? may be not but to analyze this hypothetical scenario with a pinch of salt and we need to know that the leader of the family will need to find a safer place for his family arguably a cave but what makes him believe that a cave will help him in this case? also what is the exact cause for a human like species to go for a stick or a stone in order to engage his enemy in the first place.
An intelligent guess will be a three dimensional movement i.e moving up and down the trees along with walking in the plains which in time will increase dexterity of the upper limbs like in case of modern day monkeys and chimps but by just moving up and down the trees a species could become modern humans is a difficult thing to comprehend when we can see many of today's primates in zoos and sanctuaries but this can be explained in a simple way that it is the first mover advantage i.e to say that those primates or human like species which were more adventurous and tried to move beyond the trees had the added advantage of  being dynamic(if we can say) in a way that these few creatures were the only ones who were regularly moving in and beyond the trees and constantly trying to negotiate flat lands(terrains) other than being where they were born.
but why?
Without being certain an argument can be made that may be these primates were outcasted by their fellow primates due to may be erratic behavior in the group or may be because they didn't simply fit in with the rest which further leads us to questions like does those who don't fit in the community or have a tendency to be sidelined or just say those who are not social superstars have a tinge for innovation and in turn a sense of disruptive evolution which ultimately leads to better race?
May be or may be not but one thing is for sure those of you who have seen the movie "Social Network" or "jobs" will tend to not disagree with me.

A Myth about Startup ideas

Hi All,

Their is a common myth about start ups which ultimately leads them to their downfall.

People tend to think that their idea or business model will make them an instant champion of the field which is untrue to the point that very few ideas actually tend to represent the wider opinion of the people(in this case your potential clients) as you will agree with me that ideas in our mind depend on what we perceive of the world and not what it actually is like in case of  directors making shitty movies with utmost faith in their talent without the slightest hint of what is waiting for them on the box office.
Similarly a counter point can be made that great directors with reputation can walk free even with a pointless high decibel action blunder but that is because their reputation has reached a level from where their perception influences ours and not vice a versa which is the case in our scenario.

Point to be noted is that the best ideas are never the out of the box ideas at all but improvisations and innovations in order to overcome an obstacle.

A very good example is the invention of airplane by Wright Brothers in 1903 which is an out of the box idea from any stretch of our imagination for that time but few of us realize that people have been trying this for ages and the concept was well known before they were even born and the most important point is that they actually built upon the works of Sir George Cayley.

In this entire episode the most important thing to learn for us is that their are no out of the box ideas which work in the longer run but seriously thought over string of ideas which when fall in place at the right time in the history results in scientific or technological break through.
Therefore a wise and sensible way to innovate and discover fruit full ideas is to observe the surroundings(in this case market demands and gaps in the product lines available) and improvise on what's available.

Bollywood ke Avengers

Hi All,
Few days back i visited a mall to watch a movie namely avengers that too in Hindi which in itself increases the pace of the movie a bit something on the lines of what Hindi commentary does to a cricket match.
So while i was watching the movie people were still flooding the theater even after tony stark had failed to lift the Thor's hammer a thought came to my mind that what if a director from our Bollywood with god gifted talent to copy tried to emulate a Desi version of Avengers and not surprisingly a smile flushed my face.
Then i gave a serious thought over it and realized that in this film their would be insanely more powerful and melodramatic characters who will have to be roped in with some of them gaining such a fanatical following among our youth and Ex-youth population that anything even remotely familiar to them makes us itchy like "Choti magar Moti baatein " and the father of all quotes "Sorry Shaktimaan".
Then the second character could be Naagraaz or Naagraaj or may be as we kids used to call him naaagraaag who can release a thousand snakes from god knows where except from there
Also we could have commando Dhruv who could very well step into the shoes of Hawk-eye as both don't have any of the fancier tantrums or powers their peers can usually depend upon and then their is Doga i.e the mystery man of Desi comic book universe; rumors has it that Doga is so secretive that once his picture automatically disappeared from the comic book after a kid in amravati station bought it along with samosa.
and at last the muscle man of Bollywood and our own version of Captain America who wears a mask better fit for toddlers gifted by a confectionery company for promotion.
But who should direct this film with super-characters  commanding stereotypes of epic proportions? and what should be the story like?

Fluid Home furnising @2050

News Bulletins from not so distant future
Fluid Home furnishing
Imagine you enter a friend's house and see nothing except windows and doors and the moment you start pondering about his financial well being he taps on his phone screen and the room's topography changes to a drawing room with tables and couch and even a giant screen pops up in the wall to your utter bewilderment and the entire room transforms into a standard living room within few seconds out of nowhere.
Yes i am talking about Fluid Home furnishing where in a customer of the system can alter the interiors of his home with a tap on his smartphone; it may sound outlandish and at the same time a bit premature after considering the failures of the air filled fiber bed packs available in the market but actually the fluid based furnishing is quite different from its predecessor.
The Real fluid furnishing might take 35 years to come up because it requires breakthroughs in material and fluid sciences which are still under experimentation at best but we might find solace in knowing that at least our grand children would not need furnishing as we know it today.

My Dream Bus

what if we could board a tourist bus which gave us an option to take our bike or cycle with us on a journey?
I guess it will be fine as it will help visit tourist attractions scattered in narrow lanes where our huge tourist buses cannot go and walking can eat up lot of leisure time ultimately resulting in a not so satisfying trip.
Moreover this system can help create a chance where a person can fulfill a dream of riding his favorite bike in his favorite place without having to deal with transporting the bike to that place in a not so favorite way.
Also sometimes while traveling  in a bus people while admiring the view from the windows of the bus tend to think that "i need to get off this bus right now" but suddenly you realize that the beautiful location yow want to experience is actually in the midst of nowhere and it will not be a good idea to get off the bus right now and we satisfy ourselves by clicking a not so genuine selfie with the window rather than us being on the scene so here is an idea which i thought of while riding a not so exotic tourist bus but experiencing the same thoughts myself though.
It may be possible that this kind of buses are their in some part of the world but at least i am not aware of however to make this system successful a very high precision hydraulic bike moving arm is needed atop the bus which might increase the cost of producing these kind of buses but no matter what wishes doesn't need financial and technical backing i guess.
Thanks for reading and have a good day

The Clone Paradox

Hi Everyone
I am no quantum physicist or a biologist but this thought troubles me often that what if a Scientist clones himself with better IQ?
As common sense suggests that the same scientist with better IQ will be more efficient and in turn discover things in a quicker fashion but is it that simple as it sounds may be or may be not.

Firstly lets consider the case of the greatest mind human civilization arguably ever witnessed Albert Einstein who if by any chance had ever considered worthy enough to experiment on cloning techniques and surgery and lets assume that he succeeded in improving or replacing a section of his brain with better cerebral material or increased his grey matter before he set his eyes on quantum physics and vastness of universe what exactly would have happened?

Logically speaking he would have arrived at the results like E=MC@2 much before he actually did apart from this he would have experimented a lot more which would have ultimately resulted in much bigger revelations but the question is for how long?
that is to say when could this cycle have ceased from snow bowling into bigger and bigger discoveries.

An intelligent guess would be that as the genetic diversity would have not got enriched among the cloned Einsteins therefore scientific revelations after then would have depended upon time and resources available to experiment rather than the real intelligence which stemmed from sheer randomness.
But what could happened or what could have happen can only be speculated or isn't it?

Parallel Truth

Their is a very remote possibility that when a football or soccer match is being broadcasted in TV the results of the match may appear different for different viewers unless they were watching different matches with similar looking jerseys on the field and someone else had changed the channel without your knowledge but so as to speak their are no clear goal posts and no scoring to decide the real winner in the nature's game.

We all know that tortoises had beaten the hare in our kindergarten textbook sprint championships but had they beaten us too?

Now what kind of an absurd statement is this but wait if we think alternately what is the possibility that a tortoise might think that they are more advanced than the human race?

Chances are quite high because firstly their life expectancy is still higher than Japanese people, they have got a bio-engineered bite proof vest(which we don't have) and lastly they don't seem to move quite much to get hold of its meal like the other more fancied species who compete with each other to get featured in a "Net Geo Ultimate Wild" kind of series and they might even beat our chubby kids on "laziness measurement index" as well.

Which forces me to think that may be other species on earth seem to be vulnerable and dependent on us for the time being but still we can never be sure of something until time(in order of millions of years) tests it and not our labs or may be tortoises were watching the bundesLIGA finals while we were busy admiring the La Liga pool stages while John Oliver was making fun of the FIFA itself on his show.

Why mars?

Every time i watch a documentary on YouTube about space exploration and colonization; a not so radical thought comes to my mind which is
Do we really need to do this?
As we all know that Britishers and other European empires colonized Asia in particular for its market and Africa for its natural and human resources therefore the question which arises is a very simple one.
Do we have a great market for goods in the mars?

I guess "no" unless we are counting on the unconfirmed microbial life crawling beneath the martian surface claimed by many alien enthusiasts.
Also natural resources available on mars are too difficult to extract and insanely more difficult to transport it back to earth which will be the case for atleast next 50 to 100 years.

Now some doomsday ideologues will start arguing about an alternative planet needed in order to insure our species survival but here is a point that in order to save the planet we don't need a colony in mars or elsewhere but the technology to repopulate the earth or any other planet with the same genetic diversity using artificial embryos and intelligent robots with capability to mine and process the resources and repair itself  after a catastrophe hits earth and situations comes back to normal.

Although a team of scientists can live and continue to explore the surface of mars like we do in arctic by way of rotating every 2 years or so which even if it sounds boring to many of us will be the most likely course of action in near future as far as the space policy with respect to Mars is concerned.

One more point is that their are numerous islands in our planet itself which are still uninhabited but we don't go and colonize those islands just for the sake of colonizing and putting up a financially nonviable outpost in the middle of nowhere without any tangible benefits or strategic importance and moreover NASA scientists are wise enough to take decisions in this regard without making it an ego issue which many people now think it(colonization of mars) has become.

Micro Drone Tourism

With ever increasing risks and insecurities associated with visiting exotic locations which are prone to frequent landslides, tidal waves and even Earthquakes will it not be wise to look for better options to visit these places without risking our lives and at the same time saving some money in the process.
Every now and then we hear stories about people being unable to enjoy their vacations because of not being able to keep up with the physical demands of visiting an exotic locale.
Keeping all these things in view a live high definition feed from the comforts of a couch is not a bad deal at all.
Services like these are available in some places in the world but i am not so sure about in case of long distance live video feeds of beaches and uninhabited islands in the pacific are available or not as it will require long distance broadcast at an individual level which will have to be made available on a commercial scale to the customers who will not be willing to pay more than with what they could visit the place in the first place.
Still this system if becomes commercial in future if not in near future will help some of us who wish to travel the world in a single lifetime which is not possible even if you own a supersonic private jet and lifespan of a tortoise.
